About Us
Edge is a middle school faith formation program for Bellingham youth. The curriculum is designed to meet the specific spiritual needs of 6th - 8th grade youth from Sacred Heart and Assumption. Our goal with the Edge program is to lead our youth into a deeper relationship with Christ and a fuller understanding of the Catholic Church.

Meetings (2020-2021)
IN PERSON Edge meets from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. most Sundays at Assumption. This year, all youth will be placed in set small groups of 8-10 people and will remain with that group for the entirety of the year. All fellowship, activities, teaching, discussions, and prayer will happen within these small groups every week from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. and the last half hour of our meeting will be spent in Adoration in the Assumption Church. Proper social distancing and Covid safety procedures will be followed throughout the meeting to protect the health and wellbeing of everyone involved. PRIOR REGISTRATION REQUIRED!
ONLINE Edge meets from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. most Wednesdays via Zoom. This option will be for all of those that wish to attend faith formation but are not yet comfortable meeting in person. Register through April Jordan-Hulsey to receive the link for the weekly Zoom meeting.

Adults
If you are interested in helping lead a small group of teens this year, consider joining our Core Team! As a Core member, you would help plan youth group meetings, mentor a small group of teens throughout the year, have leadership roles during youth events, and would also have opportunities to grow in your own faith through service. Please consider sharing your gifts and talents with the youth of our parish. Contact April Jordan-Hulsey if you are interested.
Parents
Part of a healthy youth program is having parents take an active role in our youth's faith formation. As a parent of a middle school youth, conversations about faith and God should stem beyond our weekly youth meetings.
